About Walk & Train
Bright Paws’ Walk & Train and Puppy Pop-Ins give your dog more than a walk—they’re trainer-led sessions that combine exercise, enrichment, and targeted practice. Every visit is intentionally structured so play and outings become opportunities to reinforce good habits, redirect unwanted behavior, and practice short, focused training exercises.
Perfect for busy pet parents, visits include mini, focused training exercises throughout the walk, plus a short recap so you know what we worked on. It’s a practical way to keep progress moving between lessons. Or intermix Walk & Train visits with regular dog walks to enhance manners and improve leash skills without committing to a program.
Walk & Train sessions are available within 10 miles of Lakewood and may be subject to availability.

Walk & Train
Two sessions/week $90 | Four sessions/week $170
Ages 6 months and up
Prerequisite: Consultation or a training program
Walk & Train visits combine the benefits of a daily walk with real-life manners training. During each visit, your dog enjoys exercise, playtime, and a potty break—all while practicing good behavior and reinforcing training goals. Each visit also includes short, focused training exercises and real-world practice (loose-leash walking, greeting manners, impulse control, and brief problem-solving), so progress continues between lessons.
This is a great add-on option for current training clients who want extra support between lessons, or for those who’d like to boost their dog’s everyday manners without committing to a full program. Walk & Train visits can also be alternated with regular dog walks to give your dog both physical exercise and a mental workout.

Visits are 45 minutes, available late morning to midday, Tuesday through Friday. Choose between 2 or 4 Walk & Train sessions per week.
Puppy Pop-In
Two sessions/week $60 | Four sessions/week $110
Ages 2 to 6 months
Prerequisite: Consultation or puppy training
Need an extra hand with puppy raising? Puppy Pop-Ins give your puppy a potty break, playtime, and outdoor time—plus gentle training to build good habits from the start. We’ll practice basic skills such as leash walking, putting on a harness, handling, and polite manners while redirecting common puppy behaviors to better outlets.
This service can supplement your current training program or serve as a smart alternative to traditional dog walks. Your puppy gets quality care and consistent, positive reinforcement from a certified trainer.
